Iranian ‘Alley’ grabs Tehran Shortfest award

Iran’s short ‘Alley’ has succeeded to grab the Audience Choice Award at the 36th Tehran International Short Film Festival (TISFF).

Directed by Mohammad-Reza Mesbah, the short is a 2019 production and awaits participating at international events. Golab Adineh, Noura Hashemi and Reza Akbarpour are among the cast.

Organized by Iranian Youth Cinema Society (IYCS), affiliated to the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance and a member of the International Short Film Conference, the TISFF is aimed to provide an opportunity for young filmmakers to exchange their experiences.

The 36th TISFF was held on November 10-15, 2019.
